Also, you shouldn't limit your search to Düsseldorf. With your semester ticket you will be able to use the regional public transport all over the state of Northrhine Westphalia. From cities like Neuss, Duisburg or Essen, you can be in Düsseldorf in a very short time. Therefore, also check out the surrounding area of Düsseldorf.

If you haven't found a place to stay and need to cover a few days, check out hostels (e.g. A&O Düsseldorf, Backpackers Hostel) or Airbnb or Couchsurfing.

By the way: A&O Hostels is a partner of the ESN network and grants a 10% discount for every ESNcard holder. For further information check Your semester just started and you don't have a ESNcard yet, but you want to stay at an A&O Hostel? No problem, just use the online discount code "ESN2015" for your next stay from February to April or August to October. IMPORTANT: The discount is only valid if you pay when you get there, NOT when paying online in advance.

We hope you will find an accomodation very soon!
